If You Ran the World…
Point of reference, I actually wrote this on April 21 but felt God wanted me to wait before posting it. New material is shown in italics.
God tells us that in the last days there will arise a one world dictator. Let’s pretend you are that guy and that you want to have absolute dominance over every person in the whole wide world. How could you make that happen? What would need to be in place to in order to make that happen and what would you need to control to enforce absolute authority? The antichrist will not suddenly show up one day; the stage needs to be set. Things need to be already in place so that when God says the time is right, the antichrist will step onto the world stage already prepared for him.
The Bible tells us that the antichrist (the one world dictator who is to come in the final 7 years) would be given power; he does not seize it. (Dan 7:11) So what would make the “kings” of this world and the people of all the nations willingly give power to one man? How about a humongous global economic catastrophe? If you and your family were literally starving, no food, no jobs, no money, no way to earn or borrow any money, no government bailouts, would you say “you’re the man” to someone who promises – and can seemingly deliver on that promise – to fix it all? Probably.
This guy would need to control all the economies. I don’t really know how that could happen but I know one thing, you gotta get rid of cash. Cash isn’t traceable; it is often given “under the table” so that, for instance, the IRS doesn’t know about extra income, or the police don’t know you’re dealing drugs, or Homeland Security doesn’t know you’re buying bomb making materials.
For a number of years there’s been chatter about eliminating cash. Right now with the virus we have the perfect scenario to make that happen. Cash is dirty; it carries germs. The local pharmacy refuses to take it. My bet is that others will soon refuse cash. This has indeed happened. Additionally they are now claiming there’s a coin shortage so you can’t get change back for cash transactions. Another step toward the cashless society.
In 1999 there was a proposal called Know Your Customer requiring banks to report any customers requesting cash withdrawals over a certain amount. The banking industry screamed bloody murder and the proposal was withdrawn. Then came 9/11 and its aftermath that included mailings of envelopes filled with anthrax, frightening people badly. Perfect timing. Bring out the former banking proposal, dust it off, rename it The Patriot Act, and bingo, done deal. Nobody blinked an eye. Sure, just keep us safe.
To control the world’s population you would need to know where every person on the planet is, who they are with and what they are doing. One thing that every government that ever existed throughout history has in common is fear of the mob – the people rising up in protest and overthrowing the oppressor. Look at how governments scrambled to appease the mob after George Floyd was murdered; can’t be having local protests turn into a complete revolution! Maybe there will need to be a law limiting the number of people who can gather together. Wait, that’s another step achieved through cover of the virus.
If you have a smart device in your hand, your house or your car you can already be located. Bill Gates is pursuing ID2020, https://id2020.org/ to digitally identify every person on the planet. The implications are frightening. Of course the manifesto says privacy will be protected but we’ve already learned that privacy is an illusion. Think pop up ads based on an internet search, or Alexa responding to a conversation you’re having in your home. Pretty much anywhere you go there is a camera pointed in your direction.
You would need to be able to communicate to every person on the planet simultaneously and in the language they speak. I am soooo not a technical person, but here goes my understanding of the technical aspects of ”all in” communication: I believe that 5G allows for instantaneous communication with every other 5G device on the network. I also believe that apps already exist allowing someone to speak/text in one language and be automatically translated into the listener’s language.
Please, neither offhandedly accept nor reject what is said in this blog. Check it out. Look it up for yourself in the Bible. If you are a child of God, you are in good hands and there is the most wonderful eternity waiting for you. If you are not a Christ follower, now is a really good time to honestly explore the truth claims of the Bible.
