This is a new idea I have for the blog, Ringing The Bell. From time to time – ever more frequently lately – there’s something in the news that seems to directly relate to Biblical end times prophecy. Usually I’d be hard pressed to do a regular length blog on the topic but I think it’s worth passing the information and its Biblical connection along to my readers. So from time to time I am going to have a short Pop Up Prophecy dropped into the blog without key search words.
As the world becomes more erratic and people become more frightened by what’s going on, the Church needs more and more “arrows” in our quiver to help the unchurched find their way to the Lord. The more we can tie prophecy to current events, the better chances we have of helping people see the Light.
Here’s the first example of a Pop Up Prophecy:
During the past 30 or so years both the Israeli government and some private groups have built and are maintaining airplane landing strips out in the desert. So what?
Last week, on September 18, 2020, it was announced the Eli Rosenberg and his company, Kanfei Nesharim, bought the controlling interest in the Israeli airline, EL AL. Why is that a big deal? Rosenberg’s company name translates into English as, “Wings of Eagles.” And why does that matter? Let’s connect the prophecy dots.
Jesus warns Jews when they see the abomination that causes desolation they are to flee and pray their flight will not take place in the winter or the Sabbath. (Mt 24:15-21)
In Revelation 12 we read about a furious Satan persecuting the Jews as represented by a woman (Rev 12:5). The woman (Israel/Jews) fled into the wilderness. (Rev 12:6) “The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle so that she might fly to a place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time (3 ½ years; last half of the Tribulation) out of the serpent’s reach.” (Rev 14-15)
So, when the anti-christ desecrates the temple, Jews who know their scripture will flee, many via the EL AL Airlines. Thus, thanks to EL AL Airlines being mainly owned by Kanfei Nesharin, they will be actually flying on the “two wings of a great eagle.”
From an aviation perspective such a prophecy could not have been literally fulfilled until the last few decades. From a “wings of a great eagle” perspective it could not have been fulfilled until last week. At the time John wrote Revelation, about 95 AD, it could not have been understood as something that could actually happen. Now it can.
Jesus is coming soon.
